The first of One of a series of card trick books that contain 40
mathematical and logical card tricks each. Their objectives are:
1) To present detailed tutorials (including supporting
diagrams).
2) To provide mathematical, logical proof and visual proofs
showing why each trick works.
3) To present card effects that are strictly logical,
sometimes mathematical with no deception, sleight-of-hand or contrive setups.
The tricks are diverse. They have been collected from a
variety of card trick creators. Each book is accompanied by articles, Excel
workbooks and links to websites that support the presentation of the tricks.
The tricks are presented in a standardized formats using
visuals that allow quick apprehension of elaborate effects.
The book is supported by a set of appendices that cover card
dealing practices such as shuffles, Mulcahy COAT, Hummer’s CATO, Modular
Arithmetic, Reducing Numbers and other practices that are common to card
tricks.
